Example: Let's say you are willing to spend R 2000 per month on google adwords. We take it over a period of 12 months, which equals R 24 000. This means that after 12 months if you stop running your campaign your site will vanish from google searches.
With SEO, though the process is a bit slower - If you spent R 24 000 on ranking your site will be so optimized that you should rank on googles Top 5 for much longer. If you cut this budget in year 2, your site will remain highly ranked and you still benefit.
